All I can say is that it’s about damn time. Zach Lavine is finally an all-star (officially, because Bulls fans have always known he’s an all-star) and is getting the recognition he deserves. Bulls fans have been clamoring over the past few seasons for Lavine to be recognized by the league, and this season he’s been too good for anyone to ignore. With Doctor Eggman (Jim Boylen) gone as head coach this season, Lavine and the rest of the Bulls have finally been able to play their way and fully showcase their abilities under the guidance of new head coach, Billy Donovan. Lavine may have been playing at an all-star level the past few seasons, but with the Bulls organization being abysmal overall, it was difficult for him to get any sort of recognition from the league and fans outside of Chicago.
